Response to Racial Inequality and the Death Penalty Debate
Original post
I do not agree with Senator Russ Feingold's statement, not because I support racism, but rather that I do not think that it is a modern problem any more. Even if a legal official does look down on the other race, I trust the legal system to have a fair trial among piers. Courts now are not like the ones in our pass. We no longer blinded by racial hatred and simply kill or convict someone just because of the color of their skin. Now, courts need a secure amount of evidence before convicting someone, so there is no room for falsely accusing anyone anymore.

Justin, you made some good points about the court not being the same as it was earlier in America's history, but I have to say I disagree with your post. The evidence from the article is way too unbalanced to call it a coincidence. Also your statement that "there is no room for falsely accusing someone" is completely untrue. One out of nine people on death row are innocent, so I believe that there is a little too much room for falsely accusing people. Good Arguments though.
